Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-03-05. These Terms govern your use of SouthernAlpsPlay (the “Service”).

1) Important social-casino notice

2) Accounts & access

You are responsible for your account, login credentials, and all activity on your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or to protect the Service or others.

3) Prohibited conduct

4) Virtual currency & virtual items

The Service may include virtual coins/credits and virtual items (“Virtual Content”). Virtual Content is licensed, not sold; is non-transferable; has no real-world value; and cannot be redeemed for money or prizes. We may change, reset, or remove Virtual Content and related features at any time, including for compliance, balancing, fraud prevention, or account enforcement.

5) Purchases (if available)

If you purchase Virtual Content, you receive a limited, revocable licence to use it in the Service. To the extent permitted by law, purchases are final and non-refundable, except where New Zealand consumer law requires otherwise.

6) Intellectual property

We (and our licensors) own all rights in the Service, including software, artwork, logos, and content. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

7) Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (to the extent it applies).

8) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special loss, loss of profits, or loss of data. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to NZD $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (whichever is greater), unless law requires otherwise.

9) Disputes, law & venue

Contact us first so we can try to resolve issues informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved, these Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

10) Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
